VENUE

Professional boxing made its debut at the Patriot Center on September 17, 2005 when headliner Jimmy Lange captured the WBE junior middleweight title by scoring a fourth-round TKO over Perry Ballard before an enthusiastic crowd of 5,122. Since that fight, the Patriot Center has hosted eight more pro boxing cards — all headlined by Lange. Every seat in the 10,000-seat facility provides an outstanding sightline making it an attractive venue to watch boxing. The arena, which opened in 1985, is conveniently located on the campus of George Mason University in Fairfax, just west of the Capital Beltway. A parking fee is included in your event ticket, so no additional payment is required when parking at the Patriot Center lots.
